Our World Irish Aid Awards
Annually
EA manage the PR campaign for the Our World Irish Aid Awards which runs in primary schools throughout Ireland each year. Developed by Irish Aid at the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Awards encourage primary school pupils to foster a greater understanding of the lives of children their own age in developing countries and to better understand the work that Irish Aid undertakes in these countries. Young people are encouraged to research the Millennium goals and create projects in various media explaining their research and conclusions. The Awards are hosted in Dublin Castle each year by the Minister for Overseas Aid and Development at the Department of Foreign Affairs. The Awards are designed and co-ordinated by Real Events.
