It’s been a belter of a year for Dublin trio The Minutes. It’s July and they have already played over 100 shows this year alone. And we mean proper SHOWS! They sold out The Academy. They’ve played Isle Of Wight, Westport Festival, Sea Sessions, did a UK tour and are getting set to support The Stone Roses in Phoenix Park, Isle Of Man’s Garden Party, Reading and Leeds Festivals, Tennents Vital, headlining Live At Leopardstown and Hamburg’s Reeperbahn Festival..to name a few.

So, to celebrate an extraordinary year of big stages in big fields, The Minutes are going back to where it all began. The band have announced that they will be returning to Whelan’s on Wexford St on December 7th for a very special show.

Their show ‘No Sleep ‘Til Wexford St’ last October was one of the band’s best live shows to date and one of 2011’s hottest tickets. They are looking forward to turning Whelan’s into a sweatbox once again this December.

Tickets for what promise to be an absolute stormer of a set go on sale on Monday, July 9th from 9am.
