2012 VODAFONE COMEDY FESTIVAL TO BE BEST LAUGH EVER

Top international and national stars of comedy to have them rolling in laughter at Iveagh Gardens from July 26th to 29th

Vodafone Ireland, together with Aiken Promotions, is today, Monday, June 11^th, delighted to announce the greatest ever gathering of comedy acts on Irish soil for this year’s Vodafone Comedy Festival in Iveagh Gardens from July 26^th to 29^th.

Over 20,000 people will attend the festival in the stunning surrounds of the Iveagh Gardens where they will witness performances across four specially created festival theatres, enjoy the colourful splash of street performers, live music and also savour the delights of gourmet food and drinks.

The full-line up, which will be made up of some fantastic home grown and international talent, will be announced on Wednesday June 13^th.  Among the top international acts flying in for the festival include comedian and “Man of 10,000 Sound Effects”, star of the Police Academy series (as Sgt. Larvelle ‘Motor Mouth’ Jones), Michael Winslow who was in Dublin today with fellow Vodafone Comedy Festival acts The Nualas to announce the event.

Pre-sale tickets for the Vodafone Comedy Festival will run from the 14^th – 17^th June and are available through the Vodafone Comedy Festival Facebook page www.facebook.com/vodafonecomedyfestival.  General release tickets will be available from 18^th June on www.ticketmaster.ie.  The festival is sold on a show by show basis and is a strictly over 18s event.
