The Original Rudeboys have had an incredible story so far. Breaking out of nowhere as a quartet of cool, their YouTube clips propelled them to cult status among young Irish music fans. Viewing figures on their YouTube channel are now in excess of one million, truly remarkable  for a band who didn’t release a record until November last year.

Their debut album This Life went to #3 in the album charts and features the singles ‘Stars In My Eyes’ (peaked at # 2 on iTunes) and ‘Travelling Man’ (went straight to # 1); as well as all new recordings of fan favourites such as ‘Sunny Days’ and ‘Bringing Me Down’. The album was produced and mixed by Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32) at his Sticky Studio base in Surrey, England in the latter months of 2011.

Their hit singles have earned them new fans both online and in the media. On the live scene, the band have gone from strength to strength, as they recently enjoyed stellar support slots with The Game, Olly Murs, Sinead O’Connor, Damien Dempsey & 50 Cent. Not to mention their recent sold out tour.

Those not too familiar with the ORBS can check out their 1million plus hit YouTube channel here. Also go to www.theoriginalrudeboys.com and www.facebook.com/originalrudeboys for up to the minute news and updates.
