COME ON IRELAND! DO A GOAL

Watch your house, y’all! Here it comes! The EURO 2012! It’s our chance to be patriotic. Our chance to support the gents in green. But, if like us, you’re not too sure about the offside rule and just want to have a laugh and do a load of cheering then The Workman’s Club is the place to be.

Whilst Trap and the lads are trouncing the opposition on the rocky road to Poland you can enjoy an ice cold beer on the Terrace. We’re getting in 3 big screens. We’re getting in loads of ice cold kegs. We’re getting in a truckload of mint to make some patriotically green Mojitos. We’re going to spoil you with delicious finger food at half time. And we’re not going to look down on you if you don’t know your Longs from your Cox!

We’re going to teach you some of our special non-specialist Workman’s Club chants – including ‘Come On Ireland, Do A Goal’ and the catchy ‘Come On Ireland, You’re Our Team. That’s Why We Support You’.

The Workman’s Club suggest the following warm up routine. Stretch out and grab a drink. Pace yourself throughout the match with adequate refreshments. Pause at half time to have some finger food. Limber up and prepare for the second half. Have the craic with your mates – and make new friends while you’re at it. Hug the stranger next to you when we score! That’s THE only strategic planning for the Euro 2012 you’ll need to be aware of.

So, make The Workman’s Club your home ground for the Ireland games. Let’s get some chanting going on the Terrace! ‘Come On Ireland, DO A GOAL’
