MURPHY’S Little Big Nights Out

MURPHY’S Little Big Nights Out has long celebrated the very best of Cork culture, from its amazing food, comedy and sport to its buzzing music scene. The Little Big Nights Out events have been showcasing everything great that Cork has to offer and bringing it to our loyal fans. 2011 has been hugely successful with its pinnacle event, MURPHY’S Little Big Weekend celebrating Cork culture for a full weekend on the Beamish and Crawford Site in August, with hundreds of MURPHY’S fans attending over the course of the weekend.
As 2011 draws to a close, our final event on the MURPHY’S Little Big Nights Out calendar will be the wonderfully festive ‘Oh Rock All Ye Faithful’, taking place in Cork city venues on Friday December 16th and in Douglas on Saturday December 17th.
The Official Pint of Us have teamed up with one of Corks most loved choirs, hailing from Monkstown, The Cantate Choir, the strong twenty piece choir will be performing all your favourite Christmas carols like you have never heard them before in the city centre outlets and in Douglas!
On Friday December 16th, we are inviting MURPHY’S fans in Cork city to head along to Ryans Bar on North Main Street at 8.30pm, Larry Tompkins on Lavitts Quay at 9.00pm, Canty’s Bar on Pemroke Street at 9.30pm, Counihans Bar on Pembroke Street at 10.00pm and Crane Lane Theatre on Phoenix Street at 10.30pm.
On Saturday December 17th, the Cantate Choir will be carolling their way through the town of Douglas! We invite MURPHY’S fans to The Grange Bar at 7.50pm,East Village Bar at 8.30pm, O’Driscolls Bar at 9.00pm, Barry’s at 9.30pm, John O’Sullivans at 10.00pm and finally The South County at 10.30pm.
No tickets are necessary; we are just spreading the festive spirit with some Christmas carols and a complimentary pint. This is our final thanks to our MURPHY’S supporters for 2011. This will be the perfect MURPHY’S Christmas Moment – firm festive favourites performed with a rock twist and a cool, creamy pint of MURPHY’S! So gather up all your friends, put on your Christmas jumper and head to your favourite local for an evening of festive cheer brought to you by the Official Pint Of US!
